I'm not sure its usage in albums as the tone of the amp can be tweaked to whatever liking in studio, but in live use its pretty apparent. It just kicks in a little extra gain, a little more of a "push" from the amp. The Micro Amp and WH-10 are a deadly combination and I would guess every sticky wah solo (or Get On Top perhaps) would involve the Micro Amp. If I recall you can actually hear him turn it on and off in some live shows, like the introduction to Can't Stop live @ Milan.
