I'm a huge fan of John and the red hot chili peppers and I'm a huge fan of River Phoenix and I know that they were close. I've seen picturs of Flea and River but I was wondering if theres any pics of John and River out there? I really like eight Down with John and River singing on it.

I haven't seen any photos of him with John, although someone here may be able to help you. And I agree that Height Down is a great song.

I've seen River in Funky Monks, making of BSSM... I wonder if any photos were ever taken of them at that time? The tiny bit that River is in shows him examining the cover shots for BSSM with the photographer.
I know that River interviewed Flea for a bass playing video called Flea, master sessions, or something like that.

well, to be honest, I don't know all that much about River, I do know that his family was in some kind of commune or religious cult when he was young, and if there is any accent coming from him, it's most likely a put on, he was a little strange like that.
But that is absolutlely without a doubt River in that picture and River doing that interview.

River is American and the cult thingey was the childen of god, which messed up Rivers childhood. Bless him!
I found a biography about him in my local libuary (sp) before. It was really intresting when it was talking about when River got a part for a movie. If you ever come across it it's a really good read.

Read a bio from my library too but someone before me must have taking the pictures out. One minute hes filming my own private idaho next hes dead.
But he was american. Spent time in south america while a child. Before he died i think he was equally based in Florida and Cali. Had a ranch in Florida i think?
