Anyway, I created a few CDs for our main hallway/consessions area and i stuck some John on there.
I guess there's no point really to this thread just that i wanted people to know that John is reaching a wider audience in the town of Watford as today around 3,500 people had the opportunity to hear John Frusciante.
peace out
Nick

I get all excited when I hear the Peppers being played, so I would probably
react very very similarly if I heard John
So, thumbs up

I actually think all it takes is one good song or artist someone can relate to for them to be introduced to a whole new world of music...so you could be doing lots of people a huge favor.
And it would totally make my day if I heard John's music in public somewhere

That is so true! Just one song can completely hook me, and I think that goes for alot of people.
He's gotten some positive feedback from his work mates, yay!
I think I have yet to hear Johns music in a public place, but if I did...

I suggest you make a bit of a best of, maybe with stuff from Shadows, Curtains, etc. You know the slightly more "accessible" stuff. The public would love it. And if you let them have a wee listen before you start to bombard them with pleas!
I have 2 friends that i have got listening and they loved him straight away. Another one i started on Curtains and she thinks it's really depressing so I am working on slipping other songs in there that she won't realise!!!!
