so i'm looking for a chorus pedal to add a little bit of versatility to my pedal board which so far consists of a boss ds-2, ehx lpb-1 and wh-10V2. i noticed that josh klinghoffer uses a boss CE-2 and was wondering if it was the pedal he uses in the bridge of meet me at the corner.
also, do you think this is a copy of the CE-2 - http://www.thomann.d...ssic_chorus.htm . because for 30 euro it seems like quite the steal and ive read a lot of good reviews on harley benton/joyo (theyre th esame just rebranded) and i also read that the CE-2 was a great pedal.
thanks
chorus pedal

First: The chorus is the best effect in the world!
Sec: You can buy Retro sonic chorus (BOSS CE-1 clone), BOSS CE-20(many chorus effects, but digital so no warm sound), EHX Small Stone (good analog chorus with warm sound)

I recently got the MXR Stereo Chorus. Best I've ever used, especially since I'm putting it in stereo between my blackface super reverb and orange rockerverb, its gets that huge wide open sound. You can also run it in mono or just get the regular non-stereo chorus from MXR. Very analog sounding.

well most of those are way out of my price range...im just hoping for a simple chorus that is cheap which is why i found the harley benton chorus so interesting but im not sure if its good

If you want something new and analog (and not that expensive) you should go with the EHX Small Clone chorus. Fucking awesome for this price and you get really good CE-1 sounding chorus sounds out of that box. I know what I'm talking about 'cause I have CE-1, the DOD FX65 AND the Small Clone. I play only the SC in my live setup.

is there any noticable difference between the small clone and the neo clone? for the price it seems to be the most worth it

You should go with the standard version of the Small Clone. The Neo and Nano Clone of EHX are way to noisy and have a little volume drop.
