Just a couple of jams some friends and I did. Both have a central guitar riff, the first being more Pink Floyd-esque (I'm on bass on that track), and the second one is a chord progression I created after hearing Dark/Light, it's not quite the same but kinda has the same feel.

Anyways, they both clock in at 14 minutes, but if you just get a chance to listen to a little of it I'd be interested to hear what you think.
And if you have some time to just trip out and listen to some kids who like Frusciante jamming, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Really love the guitar in the second one. Somehow reminded me of Slane Castle :)

Thanks for the encouragement! we recently recorded another set of jams, some of them covers, including a more rock/blues-influenced take on Rolling Sly Stone. As soon as we find some time to mix and edit them I'll post it here.

Hey everyone, I have a lot of songs and jams in the works, but time to record them all is hard to find. My friend (lead guitar on Time Tricks, bass on Recession Tricks) came to me with some lyrics and a metal breakdown he wanted to make into a song. I wrote most of the progressions with the exception of the bridge and came up with the intro melody while my buddy recorded all of the tracks as well as a pretty impressive solo. Anyways, we finished recording and mixing this in under a week and I think it turned out great!
Hopefully I'll have some more things to post within the month, I've got a plan to record about a dozen demos and maybe turn one or two of them into fully developed songs.

So we finally got around to adding vocals to the short jam we recorded about a month ago. It's the first track on which I'm doing vocals and I wrote the lyrics/progression. Instrumentals were all improvised and the vocals were done in just a few takes, tried to keep it organic though due to some of the harmonies we recorded it sounds more produced than it actually is lol. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy it.
