Punched "John Frusciante" into Pandora and that's the first thing that came up. It says it's off the "Brown Bunny Soundtrack". Is this also on a Frusciante album?

Thanks in advance,
George

PS: Love the new look.
"Take that fucking sign down." -John Frusciante

"Well, it was put to me by "that guy" when I was, like, four. So I went into my parents' record collection and found a rock'n'roll compilation. And when my mom asked if I wanted to move to L.A., I said, "Yeah," because I knew that was where the rock stars were. I was seven. Then when I found punk and listened to the Germs, I started seeing how I was part of this. I remember being out on the baseball field when I was 11, and I felt like such an outsider. Standing there in right field, I started making up an angry punk song in my head, and I went home and wrote, like, 20 songs in a row. I realized it didn't even matter if I knew how to play guitar yet." -John Frusciante

it's only on the BB OST. incidentally none of john's tunes ended up on the movie, but Gallo wanted to keep em on the OST anyways. The only john track that appears on another album is that one off the internet release, leave all the days behind i think it's called.

They didn't even end up in the movie? Thats messed up. I don't think I want to see BB or Buffalo 66 for that matter now.

yeah, BB was pretty lame..like really self indulgent and lame, just working up to that BJ scene at the end, the whole thing was pretty weak. some good shots in it though. Buffalo '66 was pretty good though...

AzteC, it was messed up that John's songs didn't end up in the movie. Never really was explained properly either. All that was mentioned was that Vincent Gallo gave John the script, and John came up with the songs that made the soundtrack, with the exception of "Leave All the Days Behind." Supposedly, originally they were in the film, but Gallo decided to take them out, although he has stated on numerous occasions that he loves John's music. Also, I highly recommend Buffalo '66. It's one of my favorites. You might like Vincent Gallo's album When too. It's a pleasant listening experience.
