I could type a long paragraph explaining the motives behind these protests, why they're justified, but also, yes, why they're perhaps misguided. But instead, I'll respond with the same level of intelligence behind your post:

Im not going to say they are ridiculous because they obviously don't think so and everyone has the right to an opinion and the right to protest (if done properly) . To be honest, i haven't been following these (they are hardly mentioned around these parts). To answer your question though, no, i can't say i find them ridiculous
