hi sherpashow ^_^
i can understand you. gear doesn't make a musician good BUT....
all guitar/bass/drums/percussion/keyboard etc. - players are suffering from a serious illness called "GAS" (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) that means that you want more and more expensive stuff and a huge collection of guitars...and somehow musicians love to watch at other musician's instruments^^ i don't know why but that's the way it goes^^

I'm the slime oozin' out, from your TV set...

One can also cherish their possessions. Be glad with what you've bought. What is the harm of showing other people your most precious possessions?

This thread is awesome, it helps people research on diffrent types of gear available and share their beloved possessions. Sure it can be interpreted as "sad" but your comments can be interpreted as "jealous" or maybe "arrogant".

I haven't heard anything about that amp Sami, but it seems pretty similar to the Epiphone Valve Junior or the Fender Champion 600(I think it's called). Three small cheap amps with a tube in the back that get good/great reviews.

I tried the little Fender in a shop recently and it did match my larger more expensive tube Fender in terms of tone/warmth etc.

And I've read recording engineers raving about the Epi.

I'd try out all three if you can. Then pick which one you like best :(

I know I'm a newbie here but I have the Vox Ad30VT and the range of sounds is incredible. For example I have had it since August and only yesterday I discovered like Two whole, new, brilliant sounds so it really does blow me away.

Hope I helped :-)

My gear consists of a Squier Telecaster Custom, an Ibanez AS73 (I'm in love with this guitar), an Epiphone AJ200 acoustic, an OLP MM2 bass, an Ibanez bass amp of some sort and a 15 watt Line 6 Spider III amp

Hopefully I will be replacing the Line 6 with a bigger Fender Amp and adding a Jaguar or Les Paul to current collection of guitars

Sweet! Sounds pretty cool! I use a Yamaha midikeyboard for controlling cubase and play synths, a line 6 toneport for recording guitar and some cheapass behringer b5 mic for vocals.

Vintage Morley WVO Wah Volume Pedal.

I love the wide sweep and the fact that the volume half of the pedal gives me a good boost. in the toe up position, the tone drops out for fantastic feedback. its definitely not a normal wah.
