I was recently thinking of buying a Boss od-2, does anyone have this pedal and how is it,

i looked at some demos on youtube and it sounds WAY smoother and better than a ds-2

also didn't John use this pedal as his main dirty pedal for blood sugar?

Its pretty decent as an OD. When you crank it comes close to a distorted sound. However, I've traded mine in for a Fuzz pedal. I use a tubescreamer for my OD, DS-1 for dist, and a london fuzz for those vintage hendrix tones.
