Hey, can anyone please name some some Frank Zappa songs/albums that have complicated time signatures, fast guitar parts, etc.
JF always talks about how when he was a teenager he analyzed all those complicated music, I tried looking for it but didn't find anything. :)
Now that the day has come.
I see myself as everyone.
I am what's all around me
No, nothing it just cannot be. Feeling has come from the sun.

Well, we don't control the chance that plays with us.
And we get existence back by hurting others.
And when we go the other way it's ourselves we hurt.
But who pushes on through eventually will see

Every moment is first.
What's gone will never come back.
But it exists when you think of it
And what is anything, anyway.
But a series of things running through your brain.

As playing it yourself goes, maybe "Revised Music For Guitar And Low-Budget Orchestra"? :D

Complexity can be understood in very many ways. To me it’s not a technical term at all and since I don't know any music theory, I can’t answer your question. But when it comes to guitar maybe you’d be interested in what he did with Steve Vai...?

I myself have been shaking my booty lately to "Sheik Yerbouti". It might not be “the guitar period” you’re looking for, but hey, Adrian Belew a.k.a better Dylan than Dylan on guitar there...!

I have also been practicing my repetitive tendencies on "Burnt Weeny Sandwich". I don't know if it is technical enough or something to analyze theoretically, but to my ears it is - practically an entrance to another dream... :)

Thanks for your help.
I think you're right about Sheik Yerbouti, I heard JF say in an interview that he likes Adrian Belew.
Guitarwise, I might be looking for that fast song that he played on PinkPop 1990.
But i'm just really interested to constantly discovering new music and LEARN something with it, if I hear stories about how difficult it was to get in FZ's band and that he worked with all kinds of complicated time signatures, makes me curious :P

The "fast song" was Inca Roads.
But he used only some parts of the song and threw it together.
There's a tab on ultimate-guitar.com and a video of the original Frank Zappa song on YouTube :)
