ShareWatson posted another tweet "BIG HUGE CONGRATS to my fav guitarist on the planet John Frusciante!!We celebrated a major transition for him yesterday!;-))"

Any ideas on what that could be?

I will probably never get married. I will probably live the way I’ve lived until now for the rest of my life – alone – people say. And yes, loneliness and separateness are sometimes the only parts of my [aw-tiz-uh m] that I really hate bearing with me. But I think I still haven’t been alone and that I’ve had love – actually a lot of it. Cause I think that love isn’t something that comes only from outside but it is within us.

So I hope to John and Nicole that they will be able to keep that path to inside of them open. Because that path eventually keeps us and love alive even when things outside fall apart and love in there takes a nap.

I am sometimes amazed of the strength and love that lies in us. There is the love of kind people around, some total strangers to me and there is also someone very lovely with me to whom I will be married for the rest of my life. The vast sceneries of her mind that I have been allowed to travel in, I admire and thank. If it wasn’t for her, the loneliness would’ve been unbearable. So I thank myself.

Yes, we’ve been a bit over thirty years together and still counting… :D Love to John and Nicole, Love to you all! - It is real! :)

A veeery reliable source (mr. groom's mother) confirmed that this is true. Felt the need to ask, as there have been many doubting Thomases and Thomasinas. ;)

I actually had half of a Sommersby 0.33 litre bottle. I wanted to make a toast; as if he was my older bro or something. Coming from a straight-edge person, that was one hell of a reason to break the edge. :) And I like children's champagne more - no alcohol and more sugar. Especially the Tom & Jerry brand.

Even though it looks to me as if John himself would have rather this stay out of the web, I can't deny the fact that I also felt happy for him. 'grats!

That was a weird thing to read. I've lived the last 10 years of my life alone, and yet I can't relate to that. It's like, a state of mind I'm subconsciously fighting. Most likely because the reason why I've chosen seclusion and loneliness differ than yours greatly.

I am sometimes amazed of the weakness and hate that lies in us.

I was astonished to see myself being happy because of the private life of people I don't know.
Is it because I identify myself with John ? Is it because I admire this person ? I don't know.
Anyway I was very happy and I really hope the best for them both and I even sincerely hope that they will have children.
I hope John will continue making music, but I would prefer to know them both staying all their life happy together.

I guess that means it's time for me to get a girlfriend. Just kidding, my idolatry is not quite at the level where I feel the need to mimic every move he makes. All things considered though, if this man who has always valued his own music and his own will over the pursuit of relationships and social comforts is able to fit into the monolithic institution known as marriage, maybe there's some hope for me.

Since we seem to be sharing our reasons for not being married/in a committed relationship, mine is quite simple: unease. I'm generally uncomfortable with intimacy, emotional and physical, and despite a number of encounters and some casual relationships, I rarely feel the need to seek them out or even simply accept a proposition. While this would be quite normal and even respectable for a girl, in my masculine sense of the world, I tend to view it as a fault, and am working to overcome it; though it might simply not be a part of my destiny to have a permanent companion.

I guess, Fenix, I meant it a bit differently or just didn't fully understand what you meant. :) I do long for love ‎and companionship, but I still kind of have a sense that a relationship might very likely not happen... ‎Even the whole process of getting a relationship seems to involve so much ‎subtle social interaction and intuitive understanding that I just seem to lack. If you don't speak the ‎language, it's a bit hard to get into conversations. So it's more about accepting the possibility or the probability than denying ‎it to ever happen.‎

And yeah, there is hatred in us humans and there are pretty freaking horrible things happening. We use others vulnerability to cope with our own - and with totally wrong means. ‎So you are right in being amazed of it.‎

But if I would all the time deny what is right here, right now, cause it isn't what others have, cause they ‎say it's less, cause I think I might be missing something or cause there are horrible things going on ‎somewhere, I would lose what I have and got to give right here, right now. I could deny love by ‎saying: “"Hey love, there's so much more hatred around than that of you", but I don't want to do that, ‎cause at the end I think the amount of hatred just equals to the amount of love needed. ‎And I think, if I understood what you wrote, you too fight to keep love in you alive, despite other sirens sometimes calling you to give up. And I bet love is just that!

BTW, it seems that the marital rate (or even having a relationship rate) amongst Frusciante-fans isn’t very high... A correlation maybe...? :D I think we should warn people of his music instead of introducing people to it. Especially the solo stuff seems to be very infernal when it comes to lose all your hope for future love. Should’ve never...! And I didn’t even listen to them backwards... (just checking them for secret messages doesn’t of course count...) :D

But I am not alone – I’ve never seen a stranger crowd... :)

Seems like I have to come by more often. At the moment I'm really not up to date with John's activities.

I'm really really happy for him!

Bibiana, I'm kindly asking you not to write such things here. Nicole is John's wife, an artist in her own right and you don't know her in person, so you cannot make such a judgement. :)

If you loved John so much, surely you would be happy for him, no?
I wish them all the best. But I honestly don't mind who he is married to as long as he is happy, healthy and continues to make more music! :)
What's gone will never come back. But it exists when you think of it. What is anything anyway, but a series of things running through your brain?
