Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any idea where this performance of Soul to Squeeze was played. I have never found it as concert footage anywhere on youtube in the last 8 years.
One of my favourite Soul to Squeeze solos : / So simple + full of feeling. Hopefully someone here can help me locate it :)



Song from 9:05 -> 14:49. Solo from 12:50 in case anyone recognises it.

Its from the live DVD Off The Map. I got a used copy of it on ebay for like 10 dollars with shipping... I also got hyde park used on ebay for 14 dollars on ebay..

I love ebay

Thanks AzteC. I've had that DVD for a while but it isn't listed on the back cover at all. I just had a look through it and couldn't find it anywhere. Do you know specifically where it is?

Sure? I thought it was from the Greatest Hits bonus DVD..I got it but I have no time at the moment to search this progression.

"Greatest Hits" has some bits from "off the map". But I have no idea from where this part is from.

That greatest hits footage is not from Off the map but it is from the same tour so it is the same era hence the same look and stage set up. Some of the clips might even be some of the un-used footage as it was taken over three days but it is not the same as what is on the DVD. Only point from that greatest hits dvd that I remember being on Off the map is when that old guy (I know he is famous so im very embarresed to forget who it was) is at the side of the stage watching the show when the Foo fighters were dropping all that stuff on chad.

As for where you can get that soul to squeeze footage? Sorry man I dont know. As I say its not from Off the map, it might have been played at one of the Off the map shows and not used in the final Dvd or might be from another show during the same tour but otherwise I dont know where you could find it. I did a quick youtube search and nothing obvious is coming up.

Thanks for the replies :)

It is from the 'Greatest Hits' dvd - I have it and that's the only place I've seen it. If I remember right it's under an 'extra features' heading about Sydney so I assume it was there.
I've always suspected it was unreleased footage only used for this dvd. I'm not 100% sure but it's a bit suspicious that it's not available anywhere else :(
