A lot of people. If you don't care then you don't have to open the thread.
But yeah, she will probably lock this. It's a perfectly legitimate topic for discussion, but she has to push here ridiculously bizarre set of morals on everybody else.

I think your point would be taken much more kindly if you had actually made it polite. "Who cares?" isn't a good way to satisfy a question. I wasn't going to post on this anymore, but as you can see it's been made into a bigger deal than it should.
I appreciate the thought behind it though, as I didn't know Iva wouldn't take too kindly to this type of thread.

i wouldnt do that. seen him at a show or 2 and he kinda seems annoyed when strangers approach him and try to talk to him. it seems that unless he's your friend he could really care less about answering your questions or giving you the time of day.

I don't think that statement is true at all. I have spoken with him on two occassions, and both times he was very friendly and interested in the conversation. I think the problem that he has is when the general public question him on personal matters. Don't ask him about his bands, don't ask him about why he left this band or that band, why he doesn't tour, etc. If you talk to him about his music, and you talk to him about music in general, he will talk for a few minutes non-stop, and he really gets into it.
You also have to think, aren't there days where you would rather not talk to a bunch of people? Days where you are just in a shitty mood, and would care less to talk to someone who really doesn't know you well? Maybe you caught him on one of those days.

Any topic concerning John Frusciante's private life (drug use, lovers of past and present, sexual orientation, vacations and trips et cetera) will be closed/moved to trash and any post concerning such matters is a subject to removal upon revision.
Any topic concerning stalking John Frusciante (giving out whereabouts of his home, talking about what's the best possible way to stalk him) will be closed and any such post in a thread will be closed/moved to trash and any post concerning such matters is a subject to removal upon revision.
Chase, since you were super-nice about all this unlike some people starting similar threads, I won't do what I usually do with warnings.
Also, the thread served as helpful as ezionretaw and bobthecow gave some cautionary tips here and well, we all agree that stalking is bad.

I run John's official site and unofficial site and I've been running the later for seven years. I had correspodence with John's mother on a number of occasions and she more or less told me that she respects the website associated to this forum for respecting John. Event organisers and representatives of other record companies consider invisible-movement.net to be the right place to post official information and it's pretty much been so for the past 3 years.
I saw through people posing as John and his closest relatives. I dealt with manic owners of rival websites that were actually in it for questionable reasons and own gain solely to see them crash their own sites / have them closed by their respected hosting companies(out of inability to actually update the bloody software once in a blue moon) and try to accuse me for it, even though I was on a vacation with my parents in another country, with no Internet access. I deal with a bunch of incredibly crazy emails on a daily basis, because that's what the niche is like - people get stoned off their ass and email me to "forward it to John" because they apparently love him more than anyone else does and the rest of us don't understand it.
Do I get paid for this? No.
Am I John's number one online buddy who chats with him about discounts at Lush or something? No.
Do I value all this a lot? Yes. And that's what matters.
I don't have Nicole Turley as a BFF on Facebook like a bunch of trophy-friend collectors, but I respect her and her work. Not to mention John's work. And that is exactly the reason I'm leaving them alone. I wouldn't want THEIR advice and view in MY romantic relationships. I wouldn't want Nicole to judge if the guy I like is right for me. Doesn't this make sense?
In addition to that, you have no right to question someone's morals if you don't know them in person. Same goes for their motives. I don't mind sharing my (lack of) motives, but most people will turn you inside out if you challenge their reasons for being a part of something like this.
I actually don't know why I'm being called names as I have not even been to this thread when you said this. That is not a nice thing to do.
I consider this thread closed. And well, I'm remembering some of what I've read.
