So I've always been a gibson guy but the Hendrix, Mayer, Clapton, and Frusciante I've been listening to lately has really pushed my interests into the sonic realm of the Strat. I def want to get an American Made one and as far as I can tell, this guitar on craigslist is legit.

I got the guy down to 450, so I want to know if yall think this is worth it, and if could possibly be fake or something? I'm going to of course play it to make sure its indeed playable. I tried out a couple strats at GC and different shops to get a feel for them. Anything outlandish or common I should be looking for when checking out this guitar tomorrow?

Thanks for your help guys!

Ad's down. If he's still selling it to you, it doesn't matter if it's even a real strat; just bring your favorite practice amp and make sure it plays and sounds good.
"Take that fucking sign down." -John Frusciante

"Well, it was put to me by "that guy" when I was, like, four. So I went into my parents' record collection and found a rock'n'roll compilation. And when my mom asked if I wanted to move to L.A., I said, "Yeah," because I knew that was where the rock stars were. I was seven. Then when I found punk and listened to the Germs, I started seeing how I was part of this. I remember being out on the baseball field when I was 11, and I felt like such an outsider. Standing there in right field, I started making up an angry punk song in my head, and I went home and wrote, like, 20 songs in a row. I realized it didn't even matter if I knew how to play guitar yet." -John Frusciante
