For those who don't know who they are it's a band made by Josh Klinghoffer and some other members of the Gnarls Barkly band.
They're totally worth a listen.
Links follow and if you love them that much I can ask iva to show me how to upload live preformances of their music. I have no computer skills.

I absolutely love their studio recordings and live shows, I guess Josh is busy with red hot willy whippers.
Sorry to say this but, I'm glad John left RHCP and I'm extremely happy to see Josh fill in. I always saw Josh as John's apprentice lol.

I don't like this, vocals are non-flattering, I think they'd be much better as an instrumental band. I guess I'm not fond of JK as a vocalist/guitarist in general, while I appreciate him as a drummer/pianist.

this is basically the best band ever
the vocals in particular are so appealing to me. his slurring style is something i totally understand and feel. for example on 'at your enemies' the vocals featured on that is my favourite vocal performance from anyone, ever. and at the same time i can barely understand a single word he is saying. soooo powerful

Eye Opener.
This is Josh Klinghoffer's band. They dont have album yet, but are releasing this summer.
Whats holding them back is appearntly RHCP. This happened with John once as well, they waited with releasing his album until RHCP realeased one so they could have a sticked on their album "Featuring RHCP gutiarist John Frusciante". I read thats the reason the Dot Hacker cd hasn't been released yet. It's kinda sad since I fell in love and cant stop thinking about them!

Thanks a lot for the information. Didn't know they were releasing something.
I think the reason you stated to be the reason for not to release it yet is a lot more sadder than the wait itself. But I guess that's the way things go (if that really is the case). Luckily music still goes beyond the package and the product. When it's on your record player, you can do what ever you like with it.
And since this thread is about suggesting music... Today and yesterday I have been going through my LP's after a break caused by the dear LP-player being broken. So... listen to for example Talking heads' "Remain in light" if you please. A lot of Swahili Blondish guitaring there.
