I will try to get hold on of this once everyone's back to wherever they should be from holidays...the label usually doesn't announce anything before the album's been mastered, that was the case with The Empyrean, as well as most of the albums before that.

Thanks. Just a quick question (not necessarily directed at you Iva, but anyone who may know), when you say "the label" do you think/know if John is still signed to the same record label he was in the past? The reason I ask is because I thought it was a subsidiary of WB and was wondering if John may have had to sever his links with them completely when he cancelled his contract with RHCP, or whatever it is he had to do to leave the band. It crossed my mind that he may want to use the Neurotic Yell label, but I assume it's too small an outfit to handle a JF distribution?

The Record Collection label is affiliated with Warner Bros. but John may have signed a seperate contract for his solo releases so his RHCP dealings may have no bearing on his solo releases with RC. Even if he did not sign a seperate contract for his solo releases his RHCP contract may have a clause in it which states that his solo career/releases are a seperate entity and that would allow him to remain with RC. I guess we will know when the new record comes out

I believe they're no longer a part of Warner Bros and they're still holding his domain and basic questions and answers; they gave me the data to do the basic maintenance on his official site, so it's got to be them.

That was the last song on a a live show in April 2004. The only thing I don't remember is PJ Harvey being there (someone, please, correct me if I'm wrong), but there are pictures of JF joining VG onstage. Anyway, it really happened.

It was a show at the Royal Festival Hall, april 5 2004, with Gallo performing When-songs with Jim O'Rourke and Steve Shelley. John and Polly joined him for Moon River as an encore.
