Just a quick question (not necessarily directed at you Iva, but anyone who may know), when you say "the label" do you think/know if John is still signed to the same record label he was in the past? The reason I ask is because I thought it was a subsidiary of WB and was wondering if John may have had to sever his links with them completely when he cancelled his contract with RHCP, or whatever it is he had to do to leave the band. It crossed my mind that he may want to use the Neurotic Yell label, but I assume it's too small an outfit to handle a JF distribution?

The Record Collection label is affiliated with Warner Bros. but John may have signed a seperate contract for his solo releases so his RHCP dealings may have no bearing on his solo releases with RC. Even if he did not sign a seperate contract for his solo releases his RHCP contract may have a clause in it which states that his solo career/releases are a seperate entity and that would allow him to remain with RC. I guess we will know when the new record comes out
