Just dropping a post to say hello to everyone. My name is Peter, although everyone I know calls me Paddy; long, long story! I'm currently a 22 year old (almost 23!) theology student studying in Leeds. I currently don't play the guitar but it's a huge ambition of mine to start learning; being left handed got in the way when I was really young and I kinda just let it go until now. If anyone can recommend any guides to learning I'd greatly appreciate it. Ideally, I'd like to self-teach myself as I don't have the confidence to suck terribly in front of someone for extended durations of time
. Other than John, I'm into quite a wide range of music; anything from Crystal Castles to Erik Satie! If anyone else has last.fm, my profile name is Paddysu (a reference to the film Oldboy!). I'm also well into films of many genres so feel free to recommend any; I haven't however seen Brown Bunny yet which does seem strange, but I'm sure I'll get round to it. I could babble on about how much I like John Frusciante for ever but I'm sure no one here needs it so I'll leave it there
