I stumbled upon this. A few people here have probably heard this already but I thought it would be cool to post ! .

You can really hear that its john playing, the liddle blueslick in which he either bends or slides in many songs (and live performances).
Wow.

I think, this is a song, some people have hear more often, til they love it.
interesting for the musicians: In the verses john starts on g#m and then goes higher half steps: g#m > A > a#m > B > cm
which should sound really dissonant, normally. But they both did the lines, so that it just sounds extremly cool
This is the first recording john have contributed to, since it was recorded in early 1988. John was only 17-18 then.

Michaela, I don't think anyone transcribed it. Perhaps someone on here could give it a try?

anyway, to michel, or any other musicians, did you figure out the chord at 1:16? the last one, it sounds like a B major but it's got some weird bass note

many vocal melodies remind me of his later work...having a hard time finding the right examples because johns discography is so huge, maybe someone can help me. i definitely hear that "we live fast cuz time won't last" from "heaven" and that "you're so often seen along the west side wheel of the mills that you steal to get around the curtain of the slobs" from "curtains" in there.....
any more?
