How can I get a Hendrix-ish tone with a Fender Blues Junior? like, what should I set the Treble, Mid, and Bass to?

More bass (8) and mids (6). Less treble (4).
Set your amp to a mildly over-driven setting.
Use a crappy cable and crank up the master.
Roll off the tone knob on your guitar to get that "dark" sound and use the volume pot to increase/decrease gain/distortion. Get a feel for using the knobs on your guitar to adjust tone and volume as this is quite important in achieving that Eric Clapton/Hendrix tone.
Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin used to have his amp cranked to the max while he rolled off the volume on the neck pickup for clean and would then switch to the neck pickup (on 10) for dirty sounds.

can you say whats the point in using a crappy cable as opposed to a normal or good one?
also what does "crappy" mean, old, cheap, or what? thanks.

A crappy cable will give you more static, which gives more breakup.

Thanks, I'll try it. I'm pretty comfortable using the knobs, I'm just still tone-hunting.

I actually meant to say Coily cable as joke.
But use whatever cable you want, it doesn't really matter. The more expensive cables tend to let more high-end through. You may or may not want this.

Seriously the cables doesnt matter that much, if you have trebly cables turn down the treble on the EQ on the amp !
