I like their music. :)
I just recently got into them besides knowing songs like "Self Esteem" or "Pretty Fly For A White Guy."
However, I noticed that during some live performances Dexter Holland doesn't show much enthusiasm (Why Don't You Get A Job @ Woodstock 99).
What do you guys think of them?

i used to really like them when i was about 14 or something. They're really good to listen from time to time.

As for Dexter's lack of enthusiasm, it happens quite often. I guess he maybe didn't feel that good physically, it's not that he doesn't like playing. Anyway, they're a good band.

Dexter is an intellectual and the band's great. I like social messages in some of their older songs. Not to mention how fun their videos are.

Why?

They might be a mainstream band, but a lot of non-single songs still carry the same message as the songs of bands such as Bad Religion do.

It wasnt a case of them going mainstream. Before Americana, everyone i knew listened to The Offspring. I assumed everyone listened to The Offspring aready but when Americana came out, i just wasnt so keen on it as thier previous albums.I listen to Americana on the odd occasion.

I don't like that song much either...reminds me of some sort of powerlessness and the music video is downright creepy.

I think I like their first album most at the moment...a lot of in-your-face political songs.
