Hi everyone,
At work I was bored out of my mind so I opened up my phone's notepad and began to write.
I'm sort of a sucker for any idea that involves group (social) contribution.
Thus an idea for the forum to create something unique is born. I've noticed a decline in activity on the forum and thought I'd contribute an idea to collectively express something we all love.
Frusciante
Myself, (Robert for those who don't know) love to make videos, love to think of ideas where the most common person online can feel more than just the 'spectator'.
example: (not trying to promote)
I run a site that I am eventually turning over to my friend who helped out with the idea of it. The idea was local Phoenix, AZ hip hop artists can submit their music and it can be showcased on the site... Live stream of the album, free download of the album and free promotion for a rather pathetic state in terms of hip hop.
So far it's taking off!!! I'm glad... it makes you feel good to just do something for no reason that benefits others.
"Frusciante is" is an idea I've been working for a while... Until now it hasnt came to a physical form.
I want to create a video expression of users here and online... (YouTube facebook vimeo...etc) that will contribute a simple 15 sec visual explanation of what “Frusciante is…” to them.
It can be anything, don’t just think spoken word… it can be you playing an instrument, you showing off a painting you did inspired by him… get the idea?
I want to be able to convey these messages in an emotional and impactful way to the community. I want the submissions to be (ideally) sent to me via email that way the final project will have so much more meaning to it. (meaning only one or two people will ever see it being pieced together).
SO WHAT I’M ASKING I GUESS IS…
Are you willing to participate and @Iva I-M.net help promote?
We can even release it through I-M.net for the benefit of the site and the forum.
