I'm having a shit time taking driving tests and failing them. I'm taking the theory test tomorrow, for the third time. I always pass theory tests, but on practice i fail. I'm not that bad of a driver though.

I had never driven until I was about 32, till I moved to NZ where you basically have to drive or you cant get anywhere!

I'll be taking my license test in February. I can't wait, but there's a lot of stuff they can fail you for

I am signing up for my classes next week or so. I tried to drive last month and the friend who taught me said that I'm surprisingly talented.
No other choice - I inherited a decent car and not driving it would be a pity.

Got my license when I was 19, passed both tests on the first time, was surprisingly easy for me.
I very rarely drive though, don't own a car and since I plan to leave this country, I doubt I'll ever drive anything that is not my mother's car here anyway.

Agree. Last time i failed i was told i drove too slowly, the time before that they told me i drove too quickly.
By the way, i failed today the theory test. Have to take it again after after 15 working days.

@Iva - lucky you for inheriting that car!
@White Widow - i wouldn't have started the driving school either, but as i move to university far from my home town i'll need a car.

Well, I'd rather have the one I inherited that car (and another one, basically a cooker on wheels) than the car itself. 
It's a 1998 Ford Ka with a custom 100 horse power engine. A fierce little thing with a mind of its own, let's hope I can actually tame it.

I got my permit recently but don't intend to learn anytime soon haha. The test for the permit (obviously just theory) wasn't hard, mostly common sense stuff

8 out of 40 classes into driving, I can safely say that I love it.
Mind you, everyone here drives a stick-shift, which makes it even more fun.
