Most people familiar with the melodic Lead/Rhythm combination (Little Wing, Wind Cries Mary, Under the Bridge, and Soul to Squeeze etc.) of playing like Frusciante will say he got it from Hendrix, and Hendrix will say he got it from Curtis Mayfield. Where do you guys find it in Curtis Mayfield's music? I got a greatest hits album of his but I'm not really hearing it.
