Hi everyone,
Myself and my brother Chris have been playing music together and writing songs for years. We're now based in London and are looking to form a band. We both sing and play guitar and we'd love to work with a bassist and drummer for writing, recording and performing. We have a load of material already written which could do with some creative input, but we're just as happy writing from scratch. John is certainly my biggest influence, as a guitarist and song writer but if you are a fan of any of the following, or similar there is a good chance we'll have some common musical ground:
Red Hot Chili Peppers; John Frusciante; Jeff Buckley; R.E.M.; Iron and Wine; Elliott Smith.
A bit more info: We're both in our mid-twenties, based in SE13 and to start with this will probably be fairly casual so we're not expecting a massive commitment, just hoping to jam with like minded and creative people who could add something to the music. I'll upload a few rough demos of original songs when I get a chance but in the meantime anyone who is interested can have a look at the video we uploaded for stadiumarcadium's fleabass competition. Thanks for reading, and if anyone is interested, send me a PM or email (benjamindisraeli[at]hotmail.co.uk]
Paul.
