i've been listening to frusciante on and off for the past five years or so. i guess i got into him through the chili peppers. for most of that time, the only album i owned was shadows collide with people (which i love). within the last few months or so, i've started listening to him a LOT more, begun buying the rest of his albums, etc.

while i had heard some of the empyrean before, i only just bought it a few days ago. i am in love. most incredible album i've ever heard. i can't turn it off.

i think the man is a genius and i admire him so much.

but obviously we all love john, so less about him and a little about me:
i'm a huge cure fan, and other bands i like include sleater-kinney and fugazi. living in boston for school, originally from outside philadelphia. hope to post some more
