Thats the one! I wish it was a country gent but unfortunatly my budget will never be able to reach those high end Gretsch guitars! But these one's are certainly well worth the money, its crazy to think of a £500 guitar as a budget model but thats how good Gretsch is. Definatly worth every penny and it sings out like gretsch should do.

can you also explain why? because you purchased a mass production instrument which is available for everyone who has 600 bucks? not at all, dude ;) ugly color, btw. Reminds me of all those fucking Rockabilly nerds.

It was a joke. Ugly colour? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Nerds? No bigger a nerd than say...oh I dont know, someone trying to look col by strumming a Jag and pulling ah "im such a cool artist" pose and using it as a display picture. :rolleyes:

So what if a guitar is mass produced? You do realize that my very own 1962 Strat was at one point in time a mass produced guitar, right? You do realize that your Jaguar was at one point in time mass produced, right?

As far as Fender was sold to CBS Media in 1965, the batches of the guitars made in the early 60's should slightly differ from these days industrial mass production, but I might be wrong with that.

Of course it was mass produced in a different manner, but it was still mass produced... thousands per year.
