The Martin 015 is worth every single penny and if I remember right, I have seen them getting sold on eBay for around 800$, just like mine, which was in like new condition for that price. Even the late 50's models are affordable as they usually sell around 1500-2500$. That actually is a damn good price for such kind of guitar. The mahogani sounds just incredible. I have never played such a nice guitar. If you somehow have the chance to save up some bucks, be a little more patient and go for it.

i've been keeping my eyes peeled for an original from the 50's, if you got yours for 800$ thats a great deal....but if i end up getting a replica do you know what one sounds more like the original, the 00-15 or the 000-15?

Yeah, the are damn sweet, but be carefull with grabbing a vintage guitar on eBay. This is something I would not advise as many of those instruments, which are quite older than 50 years are in pretty bad and almost unplayable condition. So you might wish to play it before you get a bad surprise.
I don't no what might come close to the 015, as for it's special small size and the exotic wood, there is no comparison unless you have a cheaper one with the same features as wood.
I was a lucky bastard getting it for that cheap. I will never ever let it go again.
Best regards
