Does anyone know of any other instances (video or audio) where John is given the chorus or part or part of a RHCP song to sing by himself?
Here is an example:
I know that he would sing a solo song by himself but I am referring to RHCP songs

Do you remember the version of "Charlie" at Green Fest in 2007?
John sings a part of the second chorus without Anthony.
Look here, about 1:50:
I really enjoy these kind of parts, like on "Right On Time". John's voice fits so perfect :-) There're more songs with this moments out there, like "Wet Sand" and some others, but I can't find the videos, sorry...

These are great! I know its not live, but I remember the first time I realized that it was just John singing the chorus of Dosed; I've loved the song even more since then!

me too!
i made a thread about it on the ramparts section of the rhcp.com message board and basically got made fun of. "uh,... yeah - it took you 7 years to figure that out?"
but yes! so cool.
