if dylan fell in to a time machine in 1966 and came out now they could have had a great collaboration... bob dylan doesn't write melodies he steals them but writes some of the most beautiful lyrics ever, where as mr frusciante is an amazing melodist!!

Somewhere in between the sludge was a poorly written tattoo of a Chili Pepper lyric I saw on a cheerleader in high school.

I think John Frusciante and Trent Reznor could make some really interesting music together, but as with most of the artists we've mentioned, it's pretty unlikely.

I wish John understood the Internet and the difference between true indie and various pretend-to-be-indie stuff like Trent does. I think I'm dreaming of that or something, so...agreed. :)

I think John and Lady Gaga would make some pretty weird and interesting stuff. They're both very talented, after all

Someone mixed John Frusciante's Untitled #6 and Nas' Got Yourself A Gun a couple years back and I thought it was a real interesting combination...listen here on Youtube if you haven't heard it yet.

You have two of the best at what they do here, I'd be interested in hearing what they could do if they actually did do a collaboration together.

I would John to collaborate with Mason Jennings...check out his newer cd Blood of Man, it feels very TWTD to me...Jennings has always reminded me of a modern age psychedelic Dylan from the 60's

Is is ever one song enough when there are two people collaborating in such a creative way? Too bad River died.

Damon Albarn. haha that could be awesome.
but honestly i just hope to hear more John/Josh in the future.
i just wanted to point out that i made this comment a month before we learned about Flea and Damon collaborating. maybe i'll be lucky and John will meet Damon, and they will work together.
