hey, there have been 3 neu! shows in august already and I was wondering if anyone knows if john was a part of the band?
I'm going to see them live in hamburg (dockville) in 3 days, and right now I'm still hoping that Mr.F is in the boat!

please tell me if you know anything about it, or if you're also going to see them in hamburg,
thanks

As of now, the only other people in the band with Michael Rother are Steve Shelley and Aaron Mullan. I planned on going to the show in NYC on Friday, but couldn't make it. I'm sure they put on a great show. Have fun!

greenblue62, always check the site first. There's a lot of helpful information in the most recent article, on this exact topic.

i just saw michael rother and friends two nights ago and it was a great show(no john though)........there were some really great sounds and it was at a museum....but i was taking a whiz in the bathroom and i saw michael rother in there and talked to him a bit before the show and i asked him if he had any plans with john frusciante and/or josh klinghoffer and he said that he's been so busy lately that he hasn't really made any plans with them but he said they are both really great musicians and the last time he did something with them was in 2004 so he would like to do something with them again....but he said he was leaving to do shows in europe the next day(we were in michigan USA)..but if you have a chance to go see him it's a really nice show...but i bumped into him later at the museum and got a pic with him......

Would be great. And while meeting him in the toilet sure is a bit odd, nice that you met him, he's an incredible musician. ^_^

Lol. Maybe, but that's exactly where my husband met John at the SB Record Release Party!

Looks like it's how men meet. :P

Then again, I live in the same city as my favourite Serbian singer, he passed by me many times and I never saw him for 26.5 years...and then, one year ago, my friend and I pretend to dance to Candy Shop which is played in the toilet of a big mall (Ummm...is toilet the candy shop? If so, what is the candy?) and we bump into him. His expression looked like: "I'm glad these two are not my daughters."
