I was bored yesterday and thought I'd try to mimic John's tone/playing by doing a cover of one of the untitled instrumentals from the trowftd outtakes.

Heres my setup:
Jaguar>Mxr Dyna comp> Epi Valve Jr>SM57 beta>Fast track pro>Nuendo 4

First of all, I envy you your Jaguar. Secondly, really good work. I've listened to it 5 times in a row by now Upload some other covers dude!

Thanks for the feedback. If I get around to doing more covers I'll be sure to post them. I've always wanted to try 'prostitution song'. The Jaguar and dyna comp really nail the Frusciante tone for those kind of tracks.

Wow, really good job man. A few times I felt there was some timing issues and the lead guitar was a little too safe, or clean, in terms of playing; but in no way am I saying you don't have skills because you really did an awesome job.
