whats the main diffrence between a marshall jubilee sound and a marshall plexi?just wondering

theres all diff kinds of plexis. sound depends on the year, the model, the tubes, etc.

on the whole id argue that the plexi is less crunchy and distorted than the jub. i think they have more clean headroom, but again, it all depends on the year.

the cab is also pretty important when it comes to sound

can you give us more specific plexi models to compare to the jub? that might be easier

the reason i asked is cause i wanna save up for a nice head and i found this.....

its the same schematics as a 1960's plexi
the reason i compared it to a jubilee is because thats the only amp i realy memorized the sound for from listening to soo much fru

ahh i see. yeah im not sure. i would say the jub is more crunchy, especially on the lead channel.

you should check out ceriatone if you havent already, they make a great jub 25/50 clone
