I know these guitars are discontinued and I think they were only produced in 2006, but does anyone have one that they are willing to sell? I know it isn't very likely for anyone to want to sell it if they own one but I just posted this to see if I had any chance at all. Also, any news of a shop that sells it?

Cool, thanks for the link! I think I'll end up buying one of the 59's since 62's are almost impossible to get. Next time I go to the US I'll check the availability in the stores to see if any has one of these.

I've played one directly at the Thomann store which had a thin finish. You could make a phone call and ask them if they still have one for you. (thomann.de)

Hi! I've had a Squier Strat since 2001 and now I'm building one myself. I bought a 3-tone-sunburst Nitro body from a Stratocaster Highway I from February 2010 at ebay and it looks awesome. I also got a 1962 ReIssue Neck for that body and Kluson Deluxe Vintage Tuners. I have 2 pickguards but I'm not sure which is better, a mint green or a parchment white... I also bought a set of Fender '62 Pickups... I'll post some pics!!
