So I'm wondering about power supplies for my board. Is it okay to use a daisy chain through a power supply like a voodoo lab , or a brick? and are there any power supplies that could power something like an electric mistress? or do you just have to use the power supply it comes with? Any knowledge on power supplies will help, thanks.

Check out manafacturer's info to be sure everything works with the specs you need for the pedals. Personally, I have two variable PSU's for a couple of my pedals, and use batteries for my Crybaby since that requires a different PSU. I have a third variable PSU, though I use that for my keyboard, but if I'm just borrowing/trying out a pedal I can usually just use that if needs be.

*By variable, I mean that you can change the voltage and polarity between centre negative and postive - knowing which you need for your pedals is important.

I use a one spot and daisy chain to power my pedals. Has been working for years with no problems. Something I started doing in the past four months or so though has been using rechargeable nine volts. Work like a charm. A little expensive at first, but if you get quality ones, they are better than power adapters in my opinion. Less noise from pedals, less clutter on board, and much easier to use when outlets are an issue at some rinky dinky night club.

Just my opinion of course

If by this you mean that you have distortion and a wah on your keyboard you are my hero.

"Well, it was put to me by "that guy" when I was, like, four. So I went into my parents' record collection and found a rock'n'roll compilation. And when my mom asked if I wanted to move to L.A., I said, "Yeah," because I knew that was where the rock stars were. I was seven. Then when I found punk and listened to the Germs, I started seeing how I was part of this. I remember being out on the baseball field when I was 11, and I felt like such an outsider. Standing there in right field, I started making up an angry punk song in my head, and I went home and wrote, like, 20 songs in a row. I realized it didn't even matter if I knew how to play guitar yet." -John Frusciante
