I saw three films - Alice In Wonderland, The Men Who Stared At Goats and How To Train Your Dragon. Hated every second of the first one, adored the other two.

I didn't really care for Alice In Wonderland either. I got around to seeing The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Very interesting.

So Alice In Wonderland isn't worth watching? I was going to, but now I'm not sure.

I like some of Tim Burton's stuff, and I love Johnny Depp, but eh, see it at a dollar theater or rent it if you're bored.

I haven't seen the Social Network yet, I might go see it today. I've been wanting to watch it for a while.

If you've seen Inception, I would highly recommend "Insheeption". S14E10 of South Park. It shits all over the movie concept. Made me lmao.

Haha i've just seen insheeption. I haven't seen inception though, but insheeption just presented beautifully how retarded and rotten part of society is. Poor shepherd ( hoarder ) :)

Went to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows part 1 last Monday... I was positively surprised. I really liked the movie. Maybe it's just because my expectations were really low because all other Harry Potter movies I have seen (I haven't seen the 6th movie) have showed me that the films are nothing compared to the books. But WOW, I really liked it and laughed a couple of times... enjoyed it. And the time at the cinema went really fast...
I am not a big Harry Potter fan, I have read all the books just once... but I liked this movie (although I think that if someone hasn't read the book it is quite difficult to understand the plot).

Social Network - Highly overrated and a waste of 90 mins or however long it was.
Skyline - Arguably the WORST movie of 2010.

lol @ Skyline...I saw a snippet from a trailer and it reminded me of District 9 which was one of my favourite movies to have come out in 2009. (They could be very different I only watched a small part of the trailer).

I watched Social Network & Inception on the same day last week.....

LOVED Social Network! And although I liked Inception it just wasnt as good as I was expecting, heard alot of good things about it so my expectations were high. It was a good movie but I think maybe a bit to 'action packed' for me

I can assure you District 9 is MUCH better than Skyline.

Watched District 9 the other day and was quite impressed with its originality and humour.

I don't know what you guys think about inception but to me it's too much nonsense unfounded and uncalled for fantasy stuff going on. Do you guys really think people need architects to design dreams to go into people's dreams and then further into another dream? How can this be viewed as more than mere fantasy and SF? I've heard friends of mine telling me like "Oh my god it changed my perspective on life , i'll never be the same, i'm so shocked" but i don't get it why. Seriously, how far can we be influenced to think that our mind is the pile of shit useless lier that Christopher Nolan wants us to think it is? I mean, it can be tricky, but people need some common sense. You don't bring people into your subconscious and then subconsciously attack them while consciously approving of them - it's stupid piece of crap!

Plus, i see the dead wife thing and the whole action and special effects as a cheap overused blown fuse.

Agree with white_widow. Action packed and overrated, commercial. Just makes so many idiots think they're smart and smart people think they're idiots.
Disappointed.

Shutter Island, that's a really thought provoking movie in my opinion.

PS Only seen 40 minutes of inception, but i guess it was enough. Actually, i formed my opinion in like the first 10 minutes.

I think your friends are retarded for saying such a thing. Christopher Nolan doesn't want his viewers to take his MOVIE and try and adapt it to their own lives.
