i picked one up for 100 bucks at my local music store and it sounds simply amazing and it feels awesome
like ive played top of the line fender stratocasters and this guitar really caught my attention more than a fender
i know back in the day squier was actually pretty impressive like the jv strats and what not
but idk i was jw wondering if anyone knew anything cause i was blown away at how nice these guitars are

I don't really know anything about older Squiers but I have heard similar things as you about how the older ones are better than the newer ones. Its the same with Mexican made Strats (and I believe it as mine is a '95 and it is amazing). However, what really matters is that YOU like it...if it feels good to you and sounds great, that's what matters ;) Congrats on the great find!

Here is a very cool forum for Squier strat owners. I found a whole group of people who love their Squier Bullet strats like the one I have, but there is all kinds of stuff about all the different Squier strats models - check it out (you might find some information about your 1995 Squier): http://www.strat-tal...er-strat-forum/

100 bucks is an incredible deal for a guitar with good intonation and action.
