Hey guys,

I have decided to dedicate a section of the site to fans' covers of John's songs. So, please PM me or email me at iva@invisible-movement.net if you have covered any of John's songs and you think it's good enough to be showcased.

If you don't have a way of sending a file through email, check http://www.mediafire.com , http://www.rapidshare.com or http://www.megaupload.com

Looking forward to hearing what you have to offer.

The files are showcased on this page:

really good job with wet sand. for me though it suffers with the lack of drums. especially at the outro. a bigger sound is needed. maybe would be a good idea to download a drum programme if u cant get a real drummer to play for you, just an idea though? but well done :bounce:

You really did a great job, but to my opinion, you converted it to an accoustic song, which is great, actually.
How did you get the effects in the solo? I looooove the effects, especially the way they are at the start

i was bored today so tried to record a version of johns song representing. its from the album to record only water for 10 days. its my first attempt at covering a john song so be gentle. and before anyone says it... yes i know i cant sing very well :bounce: i used a trick dave grohl once said ... its to record and layer two voices, makes u sound better apparently. i still think i sound pretty dodgy but would love to know what u guys think.... :frosty:

Those two layers of vocals really sound brilliant!

And I love the way you stuff in the small extra effects.
Your singing is great, keep on covering! (I might actually dare to take the step once myself :$ )

umm, Jay?
is there a link in ur post to ur song, or am i just missing something?

thanks for the comments everybody
im hoping to get some bass on it, and get my friend to write a drum line, and fruity loop it up, cause we can't record his drums, cause we're poor

and fruisgod (sorry, dont know ur name), ur cover of representing is good
the double vocals works well, my drummer whos not an awesome singer does it and it makes his sound good
i don't like doing it myself though, cause it trips me out too much hearing my own voice like that for some reason, and i sing too improvisational, and tend to lose myself
