would there be any good amps for chili peppers.

Marshall DSL401 I've heard is good for RHCP. You have quite a few pedals though, which would mean you could get a RCHP sound from a few amps, though I guess you should try them with your Jag and pedals, if possible. Blackheart amps take pedals really well and have decent cleans so it might be worth trying those out. Getting a EHX English Muff'n would help to get the Marshall sound, and since Blackhearts are quite cheap, you could probably get the pedal as well.

i'm in exactly the same situation and atm i've narrowed my search down to vox ac30, fender blues junior or something like a marshall JTM45. what i've really thought is just go for vintage style amps, cos thats what froosh uses. atm i'm sort of heading towards the vox but i need to try out all the amps.

the blues junior seems really good cos its almost got a marshall stlye clean (cos of the el84s i think) and it reacts well with pedals, what i'm gonna do and what i think you should do too is just go to a guitar shop, try out almost everything and make sure you take your guitar and ur ds2, cos u need to know how good your pedals are goning to react, i mean my ds2 sound crap with my marshall mg50 so thats what i recommed, and i would just go for the amp you like the best

ya. i really want a jcm 800 for some reason. i guess because it has the basic controls and nothing else. but then again that blues junior sounds really good.

every amp that breaks early can give you a lot of feedback easy.

Feedback is pretty much just a function of loudness and distortion, and a wah pedal can help. It doesnt matter if the dist comes from pedals, but your amp needs to be like either 30 tube watts turned up to 10 or 50 watts turned up to 7 - 10.

I have a question, but I'm too lazy to open a new thread...

I don't really now a lot about tube amps, but I found secondhand Marshall JTM 60 head for a reasonable amount of money, so could anybody tell me their opinion on this amp (if any of you have some info on this thing)... ?

I'm gonna second the Blues Jr. I play through one and I gotta say, if you want that edge of break-up Frusciante tone, it will get you there. And it's pretty versatile too. And enough loud for 15 watts. For small/medium gigs as well as bedroom, the BJ and the VOX AC15 are your best option if you want that slight break up. Though I would highly recommend to get the one with the Jensen or the V30 speaker. Or you can buy the standard model and replace the stock speaker with any speaker of your choice. A Greenback would kill in a Blues Jr.
