sorry guys for that question but what does that bypass mean. Or what is a true bypass?I just plug in and play with my pedals but not more. Uh, embarassing. But maybe someone can explain it to me in a simple way.

basically, if something is true bypass, that means that the pedal doesnt suck any tone when its off. pedals like moogerfoogers suck some of that tone from you when there off. some pedals arent true bypass but there very close to it so you cant really notice. hope that helped.

Buffered bypass is better than true bypass, if done well. It's unlikely though that this would be used.

That's indeed one kick-ass pedal, but they're hard to get over here in the Netherlands...

I have to agree that it's a great clone, but sometimes you can pick up a CE-1 for less than the retro sonic.

A note about the bypass: it will not be true bypass, it will be a buffered bypass. From the specs, it has a low output impedance, just like the original. This is a good thing as it means it will get through long cable lengths without high frequency roll off. It's good to have 1 non true bypass pedal early in your chain.

A video demo is not something a company rep normally does. If it has been presented at NAMM then it has already been finished and designed and we may as well wait until it comes out and let some users post video demos.

I'm very excited :)

I don't know if I like or dislike this news. I'll probably get one anyway, but an original as well. Hopefully the originals will raise in value, and not the opposite. It feels like it's the same with 60's Strats reissues - it will never be the same as the original.

But I don't know for this pedal. I think it's a little bit sad to not be unique anymore.

I will buy one also eventually, but i wonder weather John is going to buy one or not. He probably has enough original ones to last his lifetime, but the metal ones are much more reliable than plastic ones. Also i wonder, if they are going to build it with the same schematic as the original ones or will they add some "improvements"?

PS! Expensive ten-spots will be produced nomore ^_^

I'm pretty sure Ibanez will give him some issues of it, if he want.. I don't think they would earn as much on this reissue if John didn't make it soo famous :)
But then the question is if he is going to use the reissued version or not ..

I'm pretty sure it's only the grey version. I was looking at someone who took pictures at Namm and it showed the Ibanez pedals and it was only the grey version. Makes sense though cause that's the one John popularized.
