noooooooooooooo, don't change it !

Nah, I think that they didn't mean it that way.

They say:

"The WH10V2 has a unique tone character setting it apart from all traditional wah pedals, as well as some modern tweaks so your sound keeps changing with the times."

They only try to sell it to as many customers as possible, therefor they say "it's not old fashioned, you can get awesome wah sounds for more modern music too..." that's how I understand it.

Guys, if anyone has questions, just spill it out and I'll write to the product manager.

Also, a little bird told me there will be more surprises in store. :)

What kind of suprises? ;)

If they're surprises, that means they cannot be revealed, right? :P

great news iva.

i hope i can get i here in germany too and i also hope that the sound would be really the same. For example the digitech whammy 1 pedal sounds different compared to thr reissue due to other electronics build into the new ones.

But im sooooo happy about it. :bounce: :yourock:  :whee:

I doubt there is an exact date, due to the expenses and time constraints of production, the best you can get is probably a general ballpark, eg September. I would like to know if Ibanez have done anything to reinforce the tread, if possible. Thanks.

WOW, this is amazing on several levels:

ive been messing around with my crybaby for many many hours this week, coming up with cool sounds and stuff, but ive always thought the overall sound of the crybaby is kind of bland especially when compared to the wh10. ive been fucking around with my wah so much that i actually had a DREAM about getting a new wah just last night, it was probably a wh10... but i don't recall those details

it will only be like AU$125, so i am super happy about this

john's wah sound probably won't be so exclusive as soon as hundreds of other guitarist's realise that this is the best sounding wah and all start using it

when is "fall"? is it the start of september? i am australian. excuse my foreign ignorance

Fall is called the Autumn in the UK, I don't know what it is in Australia. It's like September through to October or so. I guess that's like Spring time in Australia.

Never gonna happen, it's Boss's policy not to reissue any of their older models.

im guessing everyone on this site is basically gonna get a wh10 now.

and i have another question, where are they gonna sell first. like will guitar center get them when they come out or are they only going to be sold at a certain place for a certain amount of time?

I believe that's what they meant too, but I'll forward Adam's concern to them either way.

Is it possible to find out, weather Thomann.de (the biggest music store in europe) will sell it or not, because the prices are there quite low and the stores in my country will probably not sell it.

I would be very surprised if it didn't sell it, and really cannot imagine them not selling it. Unless it's only going to be limited stock to like 100 or something, then I'm certain that they will stock it.

Well if it is 100 stock, i will probably also get it, because i might get it the same day as it comes stock. But like fruvai said, i have also a feeling, that it might not be as good as the original and it would be wise to wait for some reviews. But if Iva could ask the Ibanez person weather its going to be exactly the same schematic or not, i would be more confident in buying it right away.

Woohoo!! Time to give my WF-10 a break! :D Maybe it'll go up in value :P Hopefully they'll true-bypass it and they don't change the pot or the PCB. This is a great NAMM! EHX Memory Boy and Toy. Just wishing Boss would reissue the CE-1.
