Did anyone pre-order theirs yet? These are supposed to ship on Friday, but I doubt since the release of the Malekko Ekko 616 got delayed. I haven't heard a lot of news from it, but we'll see..

Iva, will the WH-10v2 have the exact same tonal range and response as the original?

For the first part I mean to ask, when depressed fully will it increase the pitch by the same amount as the original WH-10?

For the second part I mean to ask if the WH-10v2 is depressed X degrees down will that increase pitch by the same amount as the the WH-10 depressed those same X degrees?

"Well, it was put to me by "that guy" when I was, like, four. So I went into my parents' record collection and found a rock'n'roll compilation. And when my mom asked if I wanted to move to L.A., I said, "Yeah," because I knew that was where the rock stars were. I was seven. Then when I found punk and listened to the Germs, I started seeing how I was part of this. I remember being out on the baseball field when I was 11, and I felt like such an outsider. Standing there in right field, I started making up an angry punk song in my head, and I went home and wrote, like, 20 songs in a row. I realized it didn't even matter if I knew how to play guitar yet." -John Frusciante

There’s nothing like the sound of a classic wah pedal to squeeze every ounce of expression out of a screaming solo or rhythm part. The Ibanez WH10V2 was a hit when it was first released in the ‘80s and now it’s back and even better.

The upgrade you will notice is the die-cast metal construction, replacing the original plastic case. Feel free to dance on this sucker now—it can take anything you dish out.

The WH10V2 features the same multiple feedback opamp circuit as the original, a feature rarely found in today’s wah pedals. It also has a depth knob to control to level of the wah effect and a dry out for mixing a dry signal with the wah sound. The WH10V2 has a unique tone character setting it apart from all traditional wah pedals, as well as some modern tweaks so your sound keeps changing with the times.

By same opamp circuit it means the exact same circuit to spec or the same circuit design? I figured by that they just promised the volume increase in the wha'd range instead of a decrease in other ranges.
