Clean boost can't fix the issue; it's the signal processing in the wah that's the issue.

Pick up a crybaby if you wannt a decent wah, or if you have the opportunity, try a WH10v2 for yourself. If you want the same kind of circuit with less tone suck a lot of people here go for a Wilson Ten Spot wah. Personally, I'm happy with my Crybaby From Hell (Dunlop Dimebag wah).
"Take that fucking sign down." -John Frusciante

"Well, it was put to me by "that guy" when I was, like, four. So I went into my parents' record collection and found a rock'n'roll compilation. And when my mom asked if I wanted to move to L.A., I said, "Yeah," because I knew that was where the rock stars were. I was seven. Then when I found punk and listened to the Germs, I started seeing how I was part of this. I remember being out on the baseball field when I was 11, and I felt like such an outsider. Standing there in right field, I started making up an angry punk song in my head, and I went home and wrote, like, 20 songs in a row. I realized it didn't even matter if I knew how to play guitar yet." -John Frusciante

i was wondering if i could, to solve the issue of tone loss when the wah is on, use one of these to make a loop which then ends up entering onther pedal using a double jack. my amp unfortuneatle does not have an effects loop

guitar to ds-2 to line selector which seprates into two cables, one with the wah pedal and one without and both joining at the lpb-1 boost

this seems just perfect btw

I'm having such a hard time deciding between a wh-10v2 or the Budda BudWah. I really like the sound of both, but to me the Budda seems to get a little more range and is somewhat warmer. Also, its a true bypass, and I don't know if the wh is, but I hear it sucks a little tone out of your chain.

haven't we agreed that the wh-10v2 does the same thing with sucking tone? get the budda budwah! sounds cool, and zen.

guys, i just noticed this whilst looking on ebay for WH10s

http://www.ebay.co.u...#ht_1563wt_1344

if you look at the second picture, does it not look like Ibanez have changed the footswitch to a hard-engaging one

if so, i'm gonna get a WH10 (i returned the first one i owned due to the terrible footswitch)

Instead of getting the budwah, I got the wilson ten spot II
Essentially a clone of the original grey wh10. Haven't been this happy with a pedal I've bought since my wren and cuff tall font russian

It seems like butique pedals are so much better than what the bigger companies put out.

The price for boutique pedals is cruel.
You get great pedals from BOSS, Ibanez, EHX, ...
If you want some exotic over-the-top pedals you have to spend three times as much money..
I think that's not necessary :)

well its all relative if you ask me. My first pedals were all brand name. When I got my first few boutique pedals, I was literally in awe at the better sound and build quality. All the old boss/mxr pedals were bomb, but the stuff they put up now doesn't really hold a candle to the older generation stompboxes

I think that the pedals from the 80's are the best. Personal opinion.
