This is a video by Chickenfoot performing "Oh! Yeah!" at the Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. Chad is singing backing vocals! He sounds so great that this would be a new possible RHCP line-up!

Check out his Conan O'Brien mockery at 5:22min

Am I the only one who thinks that watching Chickenfoot is extremely embarassing?

There's just something so wrong about that band, in my opinion, of course.

I totally agree with this... and then a guitar solo... and then chorus. It's like I knew the song before I heard it

I find Sammy Hagar extremely cheesy.

I edited the missleading subtitle, someone might get a heart attack here.

This is very interesting :D
but... there's something about it that doesn't make me want to listen to it a whole bunch of times... not to mention a whole album... don't know why though...

Satriani is great, Chad is a genius... the other two I'm not familiar with... they kinda remind me of Deep Purple a bit...

but I don't know...

...oh, and :

Holy shit... Chad dyed his hair? That's terrible. He's supposed to have grey hair!
And this song is pretty terrible, too...

Yeah I saw this on TV, it looks like they're having a great time when they play and thats what really matters. The album is alright, there are a bunch of songs that are better than Oh Yeah, but its nothing special or anything. Its what you would expect, a bunch of hard party rock songs that are all pretty catchy to listen to, but nothing new or exciting. Satch rips up some nice guitar solos, and the rhythm section of Chad and Mike Anthony is pretty powerful. Hagar's pretty annoying throughout and his lyrics make Anthony Kiedis look like a lyrical genius.

Man..... I almost never say this about music, but this sucks. It's already been said, but this is kinda embrassing and really cheesy. I don't know if I'm going to check the rest of the album...

I just cannot believe that guy who posted the video on youtube in the first place, is calling them "the best band in history".

i have a funny suspicion that Chad may have seen the *literal video for UTB. in it the singer says something to the effect of 'oh look it's will ferrell' when it cuts to a shot of chad playing drums.

i could be wrong but if i'm right that's pretty funny and chad has a great sense of humor.

*see thread on literal videos

Yeah, everybody thinks he's Will Farrel haha. Back in '06 at the Chili Peppers Halloween gig, Chad dressed as Ricky Bobby.

I haven't listened to the album yet, but I partly share Samuel's view. I don't think I'm obliged to like things just because they're RHCP-related. If it turns out to be likeable, cheesy or not (cheesy doesn't have to be bad), it will have nothing to do with the fact that it's something in the RHCP solar system. :headphone:

But yes, Chad's Will Ferrell jokes are somehow STILL funny.
(Especially now that I actually know who Will is...)
