Since 92 I've been watching to this beautiful piece of images and sounds. First, via VHS, and, now, I have the original DVD.

But, as a non-english speaker, I always lost some things that are said in the documentary.

So I ask you if you have the srt file (a subtitle one) for Funky Monks? It can be in english, spanish, portuguese...

I have find one, but made for hungarians. Man, that's a difficult language.

...and then post the results and have people correct it.

lol I know how it is done...The same way you do audio interviews but I mean if we'll split it up in sections or if one person does everything..

I didn't mean to be nasty, I was just generally frustrated with how the most complicated DVD lacks subtitles.

I'll check how long it is and then a couple of us can split it.

Ok, it lasts 60 minutes, so the three of us can do it - 20 minutes each Iva can do the first 20 minutes, I can do the second part [20-40], and you [Amara] the third/final [40-60]. Is that ok?

And we should somehow note where we had stopped, either in terms of minutes or terms of the dialog that was going on when we stopped, so we don't skip anything.

Ok, my part starts at about 20.30 [after the drum beat] But I'm not sure about what Clara says and it ends with Anthony saying 'what, what was that?'..around 40.05.

Well, if we speak two languages different from the one in question and we can't get a pallette of the weirdest sexual words around, it's not our problem.

There's a nice software to helpus to do it to. It's called "subtitle workshop". I've done a few subtitles with it. It's easy to use.
