Has anyone here had professional singing lessons?
What was your experience like?
Was it helpful? Did it help your pitch as well as your breathing etc ...? Did they cover mike technique?

I remember that John said in an interview he took lessons and he studied the singing of great artists like the beatles, how they accentuate and underline certain notes or words in their songs. he said that this made him a much better singer.
as a fan one can reconstruct the evolution in his singing by comparing certain albums and paying attention to the way he is putting emphasis on certain words (besides simply singing better and hitting the notes more exact).
stay healthy!
