that's all great, but I have a question: is it possible to seperate the channels with a state of the art computer software (I couldn't believe that xD), or did someone get the files from the studio or the mixing desk?

and another how-they-record-question : why can you hear the drums (or sometimes all other instruments) sometimes very quiet? For example when you listen to the bass channel on dani california you can hear the drums sometimes but then suddenly they dissappear ?! =S or sometimes you can hear anthony's vocals very quiet before he actually sings.

Wanted to bump this!!!!!! Does anyone know where to get the .mogg or .ogg files (whatever the Garageband/Rockband file format is) for the Californication songs? Has no one hacked the songs????
