I will slowly be uploading multi-channel versions of several songs from Stadium Arcadium and the whole Blood Sugar Sex Magik album. The file within the tar archive is an ogg file which can be opened with Audacity, a free audio editing program.

There are nine channels in the file:
- 4 drum channels
- 1 bass channel
- 2 guitar channels
- 1 vocal channel
- 1 "misc" channel (background vocals, sound effects, etc.)

I downloaded Snow, but it wont play it... I opened it using audacity and it loads all the tracks, I press play, the bar moves a little bit with no sound and stops...?!

Give me a few and I'll download the copy off my server and try it out. The original copy I have works.

I am also in the process of preparing the BSSM songs.

great man can't wait to check it out! how are you doing it? recording your interpretation of it, or separating/editing the original in an extremely complicated way?

I just downloaded, opened, and played it. It worked just fine. If it makes any difference, I'm using Audacity on OS X.

Anybody got this working in Adobe Audition? Nothing happens when I try to open the file.

dude, does Soundedit work also? It came with OS X 10.4. and later.

I'm not getting it to work with Sound edit, am working with Audacity trying to figure out which channel is what and how to isolate. Fun.

I don't know, don't have Soundedit and I use Windows Xp...
I tried opening Snow with Nero Wave Editor, it seems to recognize there are multiple stereo channels but it doesn't work, can't play the tracks

in dani california the last two tracks are like people singing over the cd tune
