Damn, they toured Aus? If I knew, I probably would've went to see what they're like. I always wanted to check them out but I never got around to it.

a couple of shows. dunno if they did all states. it was one of those "dont look back" shows, which is when the bands perform what is regarded to be their "classic album"

I like it, "Teenage Riot" has a nice, kind of...Joy Division feel, if you get what I mean. My internet's running slow at the moment so that's all I got to check out lol.
What do you recommend for their earlier stuff when they were who they planned to be to begin with? I understand they were trying to be a little more accessable with this album right?

not really. it probably just happened

the other stuff is really really noisy and stuff, but "evol" is a good record too for their early stuff

That is so damn awesome. One of the best things to accidentally come across I reckon :D
Have you seen this performance of "Silver Rocket" it has the best grasp for feedback I have ever seen...

I'm glad I checked out the song before I went to bed :D

Hell yeah :D
I also learned the song, I'm still trying to get the whole feedback thing down but yeah.
It's in a really weird tuning to, I'm able to get the tuning right though so it's all good.

99% of their songs are in weird tunings

they bring like 40 guitars to every live show. different guitar for each song due to the tunings

Woah, that's a hell of alot. I've been getting the hang of Noise Rock now I think.
Basically, I've just been playing whatever. Going nuts with bends, hammer-ons and pull-offs, the whammy bar and feedback.
Also been using playing with echo, wah and pitch, in association with the genre of course.

nice track SPSkmj, the first section has a sort of flamenco latino feel to it, very cool and would sound fantastic on a classical guitar. The bit with the ascending chords is great as well, that part is very frusciante. Nice work.
