Hi,

Does anyone know what instruments John used for 23 Go Into End? It's probably synthesizers, piano and guitar, but I'm not sure. It sounds like there's strings too but that's probably synths (I don't know much about synths :))

And for the delay, anyone know what kind he uses for the effect at 1:34? It echoes then rises in pitch...I think it might be from his DL4 but again I'm not sure

Thanks <3

Omar Rodriguez-Lopez played guitar on this song (with a slide) and i'm pretty sure he was using an old Roland Space Echo RE-201 for this one, because he made very similar effecs with it during the electric ballroom concert in 2003, their performance show in 2004 and he's known to be a fan of the space echos <3

but you can recreate the sound with nearly every delay pedal and a slide :)

the "stings" are maybe an ARP String Ensemble. it's a synthesizer and john used it during that time.

josh plays some piano parts here and there.

and the background noises are made with John's Doepfer A-100 Modular Synth (i'm 100% sure about this one)

I'm the slime oozin' out, from your TV set...

Ah I see, thanks a lot man. I always thought the 'rise in pitch' was an effect, guess I was wrong haha

Cheers for the link too, that's a great song <3 (not a big fan of the vocals though, but I'm a picky guy)
