Hey!

Just wondering if anybody knows what kind (or I'd be very grateful for exakt model) of in ear-monitor and wireless guitar system John uses.
I have noticed that his in ear-monitors are also working as an ear protector - they aren't the usually kind where you just press it in your ear - John's is covering the whole ear, and Flea's, Chad's and Anthonys's does the same. Probably because the big friggin' sound level when they play. May they be custom made for their ears?

I also wonders in what price range John's wireless guitar system is in, or do you know the exact or almost model it's better. :(

Thanks,

David

He uses Shure wireless systems
i'm sure his would be in the higher price range as he needs it for his large rig and especially when you play big arenas

Most in ear monitors are custom fitted for your ear.

Oh, thanks! Really looks like them. It also seems like Flea and the other one in the band is using them as well. Flea sometimes has the Ruby Red ones. ;)

May I ask you how you know this?

How do they hear each other if they have in-ear monitors??? Do they have only one channel on the monitor (for example just guitar) ar do they have the mix of all together but with themselves in a bigger volume??? :D

Yup they will have lots of different channels for each musician and depending on which band member they are they will have different mixes.

Also if you notice they generally have stage monitors in front of them at their feet so they can hear themselves there too.

Also they have a monitor engineer whose specific job is to mix their monitors (both in ear and on stage)

Also if you notice over at John's side of the stage they have a mic that they can speak to the engineers and i presume they can talk back to them in their in ear monitors
